Children are shown playing games, holding lotus sprigs and amusing themselves among pavilions and plants. Outlines are drawn in underglaze blue, filled with vibrant red, green, blue and orange overglaze enamels accented by gilding. The lively scene symbolizes abundant offspring and prosperous family. Interior is plain white. The base bears six?character seal?script blue?and?white mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Finely painted with rich palette, it represents fine Qianlong dou?cai figural porcelain.
