Height:18.5cm(7.28in), Width:13cm(5.12in), Weight:1080g(2.381lb)A pair of imperial wall vases of Qianlong reign, Qing dynasty, with flat reverse side for wall?hanging. The vases are covered with soft apple?green glaze over finely carved scrolling floral ground. Six vivid famille?rose boys in varied postures are applied onto the body, representing the auspicious theme of numerous sons. Cartouches bear ink?written imperial poems accompanied by vermilion seals. Rim and foot are gilded. Interior and base are covered with turquoise?blue glaze, the base bears iron?red seal mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. Combining incised ground, applied sculpture, famille?rose enamel, gilding and imperial calligraphy, the pair bears high technical complexity, symbolizing blessing of prosperous progeny, as a distinctive treasure of Qianlong court porcelain.
