The interior features blue ground with incised graffito?decoration, surrounded by precious floral motifs. A shaped cartouche framed by pink kui?dragon and fretwork encloses a garden gathering scene. Under ancient pine and scholar??s rock, scholars and ladies play zither and savour tea, accompanied by attendants. Incense utensils and scholar?objects rest on tables, with balustrade and plants rendered in fine detail. Figures are vividly portrayed with delicate robe folds. The rim is lavishly painted with scrolling floral scrolls in rich varied enamels, representing the opulent aesthetic of Qianlong imperial porcelain. A fine decorative scholar?studio piece.
