A Queen Anne Anglo-Dutch walnut longcase clock by Fromanteel & Clarke, circa 1710,

Provenance:
the 10-inch brass dial set with a silvered Roman chapter ring and apertures for day and date, the eight-day movement with alarm, striking the half-hours on a bell via an inside countwheel strike, fitted with an anchor escapement and latches to the dial feet and five ringed pillars, with a separate sub-assembly to the right-hand side of the plates for the alarm, the case fitted with an oval lenticle and surmounted by a scrolling foliate crest
