Antique Chinese rectangular framed painting (I have not removed from frame to inspect material). This panel depicts two ladies in a coastal landscape. There are 2 other paintings available that seem to all be a part of one larger body of work that might have been a six-fold screen at one time.

Condition Notes: The frame is heavy and sturdy with wire on reverse for hanging (top left corner is beginning to show separation, see photo). This panel shows the most signs of age with discoloration and holes in areas from the current backing material, waviness in material underneath frame and some fading. Please see photos. It is recommended to have the backing replaced with Acid-Free Backing Boards: These boards provide support and protection to the back of your framed item and maintain a neutral pH level, safeguarding from acid-induced harm.
