An original framed watercolor by English artist Leyton Forbes, entitled "A Cornish Garden." The work is rendered in a lovely soft colour palette, capturing with sensitivity the gentle charm of its subject. The artist's hand is evident in the delicate brushwork, and the piece is signed, affirming its authenticity.

It is presented in a beautiful gilt frame, the warmth of the finish enhancing the subtle tones of the painting and lending it a quiet elegance.

Hand selected in and imported from England, this watercolor is a most pleasing example of Forbes' work. A companion piece by the artist, entitled "A Devon Cottage," is also available in our online collection, making for a most delightful pairing.
