A beautifully detailed European-style genre painting housed in an ornate gilt carved frame, featuring a seated young woman in a pastoral setting.

The frame is richly decorated with raised foliate and scrollwork motifs, finished in warm gilt with areas of natural patina that enhance its depth and character. The dimensional carving and aged finish give the piece a refined, old-world presence that works well in both traditional and collected interiors.

The painting itself depicts a young woman at a fountain, rendered in a soft, romantic style. It appears to be signed "S. Depardieu" in the lower portion.

The piece presents as vintage decorative art with strong visual impact, with the frame being a particularly standout element.
