A charming mid-century Alpine landscape oil painting by Frieda Treubel, depicting a serene turquoise mountain lake framed by evergreen pines and dramatic snow-capped peaks.

The composition captures the romantic atmosphere of the European Alps, with warm autumn foliage in the foreground and luminous light reflecting across the water. The artist's confident brushwork in the mountain ridges and layered tonal transitions in the lake create a sense of depth and tranquility.

The painting is presented in its original giltwood frame with black velvet liner, a distinctive framing style popular in the late 1940s and 1950s that adds visual depth and a classic gallery presentation.

Treubel landscapes are known for their evocative Alpine scenery and timeless decorative appeal, making this piece a beautiful addition to traditional, lodge, mountain cabin, or vintage-inspired interiors.

A classic mid-century European decorative landscape, retaining its original period frame and presentation.
