Hand-carved in solid wood with great attention to detail, this piece delineates a figurine of Kwan Yin, the goddess of compassion and mercy in East Asia, and stands as a functional piece of art in any room.

Meticulously carved by a skilled artisan, this unique work of art depicts Guanyin standing atop a lotus throne. Guanyin means "one who hears the cries of the world." She is the bodhisattva of mercy, modesty, compassion, and wisdom. In the Buddhist tradition, Guanyin was an enlightened soul and no longer needed to reincarnate. However, it is said that while Guanyin was ascending into the spirit world, she heard the cries of suffering humans. As a result, she chose to remain in the physical world to help other beings reach enlightenment. This statue will not only serve as a beautiful display piece but will also bring profound luck and fortune.
