Condition Report:
The 1796cc lead free four cylinder engine, it fires up with ease and quickly settles into a smooth running engine with excellent cold and hot oil pressure. The engine is paired with a four speed manual gearbox with Overdrive on 3rd and 4th which is reported to have been renewed recently. overdrive. The car’s period charm is enhanced with a set of Minilite alloy wheels which complement the cars period colour exterior. The black vinyl roof is in excellent condition and has a half tonneau for when the roof is down.
The history file includes a substantial quantity of invoices relating to a restoration undertaken in 2003 by Renaissance. Photographs contained within the file suggest the car benefitted from replacement front wings, doors, boot floor and boot lid, together with extensive repairs to the rear wings and a full repaint. The restoration has mellowed attractively and today the car continues to present in good overall condition.
Accompanying invoices from the 2003 works total some £7,465, with further supporting paperwork from specialist suppliers including Brown & Gammons Ltd extending through to 2024. The most recent recorded service appears to have been carried out in 2025.
The vendor advises that the engine runs well with good oil pressure, which can be seen on the gauge, the clutch operates correctly, and the steering remains precise and free from undue play.
