This beautiful original vintage oil painting on canvas, created by artist V.A. Rogov in 2006, depicts the historic Mainz Cathedral (Mainzer Dom) - an architectural jewel of Germany and one of the revered "Imperial Cathedrals" of the Holy Roman Empire.

With expressive brushstrokes and warm, glowing tones, the artist captures the majestic triple-towered facade of this Romanesque masterpiece under a sunset sky. The cathedral, officially dedicated to St. Martin of Tours and St. Stephen, has stood for over a millennium and served as the site of multiple royal coronations during the Middle Ages. Located in the heart of Mainz, the cathedral is a powerful symbol of sacred imperial history and ecclesiastical influence.

Signed by the artist in Cyrillic (Rogov V.A.) in the lower-right corner. The back of the canvas is titled in Russian: "Mayntsskiy sobor" (Mainz Cathedral), dated 2006, and painted in oil on canvas (40x50 cm).

Presented in a beautiful vintage gold frame with linen liner. The painting is in good condition. The frame shows light vintage wear and scuffs consistent with age - see photos for details.
