Bold brushstrokes, layered textures, and rich movement define this striking vintage abstract expressionist composition by Allie Kitchens McDanald. Original painting on paper, professionally framed and matted behind glass. Painted with spontaneous yet confident strokes in a palette of earthy ochres, deep navy, warm blush, and pale lavender. Framed in a soft pink metal frame with a matching pale rose-toned mat. Perfect for collectors of modernist or expressionist art. This piece would hold its own in a gallery wall, hung as a statement piece, or styled against minimalist decor as a burst of intentional chaos. Would pair well with modernist furniture, brutalist ceramics, or warm-toned linen upholstery.

This framed original measures approximately 25.75" tall, 17.75" wide, and 1" deep.

Incredible vintage condition with no damage. The artwork has not been removed from the frame to inspect the back. This piece appears to be unsigned, but it was procured through the estate of the artist Allie Kitchens McDanald. Believed to have been painted in the mid-20th century based on the majority of dated works from this artist's portfolio.
