One of our most exciting finds so far this year; A minimalist yet rich original hand drawing of two carriage horses. It's a small work of art that pulls a lot of punch. The set of horses are depicted in a very charming and beautiful way-joyful to be doing their job; And what really makes this painting pop even more is the bold black color of the straps and harness'. Something about the combination of graphite pencil with the darker black color elevates and layers the work for us in a unique and special way. It turns it magical somehow. It'd make a lovely addition to any equestrian horse loving art collecting person, of original unique works. It comes with its original frame and is singed on the bottom left: "Drawing by Walter J Hoover Dec 21, 1926".
