Imagine being by a small pond circled by trees in the early evening. That's the feeling of tranquility you get when you look far into this painting-where the brushstrokes on the tree leaves suggest a gentle breeze.

The pond and sky are shaded in midnight blue, bright blue and gray. The trees, grass and fallen leaves are evergreens highlighted in yellows.

The painting is newly presented in a high-quality metal leaf scoop compo frame. (Compo is a mix of powdered chalk, glue, resin and linseed oil. A compo frame is considered intricate onrmamentation and often used instead of carved wood.).

Signed "ROSS" in yellow-as seen in photo. Country of origin and date painted are unknown. (For purposes of this listing, United States and 2000's is used.)
