Serene and atmospheric signed landscape painting dated 1979, depicting golden grasses emerging through soft snowdrifts beneath a muted blue sky. The composition captures a quiet winter moment, where subtle light, texture, and natural form create a calming, minimalist effect.

Signed "Lassetter" in the lower corner, this work reflects the influence of late 20th-century American tonal landscape painting, where artists emphasized atmosphere and restraint over detail. The gentle contours of snow and the delicate rendering of grasses evoke stillness and seasonal transition, making the piece especially appealing for modern interiors seeking a soft, neutral palette.

A label on the reverse indicates the painting was part of the Morrison-Knudsen collection, a notable Boise-based corporation known for its engineering legacy and regional arts patronage. Its Boise provenance adds an additional layer of interest for collectors.

The simple wood frame complements the natural tones, making this a versatile piece for minimalist, Scandinavian, modern, or winter-inspired interiors.
