A charming portrait of a girl and her friends sitting on a white bench outdoors by John Trubee (American, 1895-1964). The girl's joy is a pleasure to behold, and her puppy and piggy friends are adorable. The portrait is rendered in a masterful impressionistic style. The wood frame is a piece of art of its own with elaborately carved corners as well as textured, molded design details in a distressed finish.
