Painting # 050924 by Van Bankston is a refreshing take on minimalism. The richest jade green interacts with the palest floral gray, offering movement and direction, as well as balance. Soft edges and a gessoed textured canvas surface mellow the composition.
The painting is signed on the back and is framed in a satin black metal canvas floater, wired and ready to hang.

"I hope my art encourages the viewer to stop, pause, and take a breath. My art is an invitation to the pleasure of the present moment through the qualities of color, balance, line, form, and texture for a lifegiving and empowering experience."
