A dreamy abstract painting by the contemporary artist MP Landis. Titled "LP13.06 (Derek Bailey)". Landis creates lush surfaces rich with texture and color that evoke depth. In this painting there is a lot of tense movement in the energetic red scrawls that seem to both float and sit on a hazy white ground.

Oil on canvas. Signed, dated, and titled on verso, 2013.
