Artist (American b. 1969) Christopher (Cyrstoper) Shoemaker created this painting of six standing figures on a found piece of fabric. It is signed across the bottom and dated 2014. Shoemaker a self-taught painter typically uses found materials to paint on. Yet, his artwork is widely collected.

Additionally, Shoemaker has had several one-man art exhibitions primarily at the Colin Fisher Studios in Cathedral City, CA. In regards to this work of art. It is highly suggested to have it framed, thus the low price offering. It would be best to have a framer float the fabric artwork on a white paper background with the artwork only being tacked down at all four corners and again in the middle top and middle bottom. This way, the artwork will feature the ripples that the artist intended when he created this painting and not be just flat.

In the additional photos provided, there is an example of the artwork floated with a show box style framing. Please note, the example of framing features a different artists work, plus a photo of the artist. Shoemaker a self-taught artist, also known as an outsider artist, went from being highly collected and his work is in many important collections. This work of art would be a nice addition to any home or office.
