Painting # 070924 by Van Bankston is an intriguing statement of geometric minimal abstraction.
Compelling shades red and green form an energetic as well as soothing composition. The vitality created by the complementary colors are tempered by a soothing gray. The interaction of colors and shapes is negotiated by soft edges. The painting is framed in a minimal black metal canvas floater. The painting is wired and ready to hang.

"I hope my art encourages the viewer to stop, pause, and take a breath. My is an invitation to the pleasure of the present moment through the qualities of color, balance, line, form, and texture for a lifegiving and empowering experience."
