This painting depicts a colorful Mid Century Street in Paris France, a popular subject of the times painted by many important impressionist 20th Century painters. This piece is a bold display of color and thick use of paint. The artist captures the moment and the impressionistic details are noted with thicker use of paint and pallet knife. The composition is wonderful, as each figure is captured in movement with much whimsey. The buildings and flowers are depicted beautifully as people go about their day outside through the streets. A charming scene from the 20th Century. This painting is signed by the artist lower left and it comes comes housed in a beautiful dark walnut wood frame with linen liner and hook ready to be displayed. Art measures 9.5 x 7.25" inches Frame measures 17.5" x 15.5 inches P. G.
