Len Klikunas paints minimalist artworks to modify experienced reality through visual perception. The Blocks series is a mix of art and architecture, hovering between painting and sculpture. It employs shizen (ZiRan): the Japanese concept of naturalness; absence of pretense or artificiality. Material is stretched over a supporting three-dimensional framework, like a tent, and coated with paint.

The work is characterized by "mindful artlessness" and simplicity. Understated and subtle, the work doesn't only refer to itself, and it doesn't explain everything.

This 12 inch square by 1 3/4 inch deep post-minimalist artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides are painted white. The artist signs the artwork on the back. Convenient local Los Angeles shipping. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide also shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with this unique painting.

Len Klikunas' sculptural works are represented by Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles. They have been exhibited and collected throughout the USA.
