Beautiful, marquetry bombe commode chest reminiscent of the 19th Century French and Louis XVI style.
2 drawer chest with serpentine front, cabriole legs and floral inlay.
Given the curved nature of the piece, dimensions quoted for width & depth are taken from largest measurement.

Condition:
Alterations: Unknown
Imperfections: Needs Restoration
Condition Notes: There are a couple of small areas where the veneer is raised or damaged. On the right hand side of the top drawer, there is small triangle section of veneer missing. All other dings and imperfections consistent with age. Construction is sound and both drawers are functional albeit a bit difficult to draw out given the size of the round pull.
