This beautiful Italian olive wood commode boasts excellent craftsmanship. With two drawers, it is smaller in scale than larger bombe chests which adds to its versatility for different areas of your home. It is perfect at the end of a hallway under a mirror, or can easily work in any bedroom setting as well. The piece is veneered in olive wood and has a gorgeous deep honey gold patina. Olive wood is a pricey and rare wood that can only be found in Parts of Europe. The chest has original hardware. The bottom of the chest has been refitted with a newer bottom which is shown in the photos. For obvious reasons, this is not noticeable and does not take away from this piece's superb craftsmanship. The piece is in great condition with only minor surface scratching and a few minor blemishes as shown in the photos. Please ask for any additional photos needed.
