Description
Outstanding American oak server / sideboard.
The design elements combine fabulous tiger oak (sometimes called quarter sawn oak), leaded glass side display cabinets, top mirror with candle shelves (candles in front of mirrors added light to rooms before electricity), bowed front top server surface, and claw feet.
The quality of the workmanship is incredible both in the visible and hidden construction elements: beautiful hardware, dovetailed joints, etc..
This is an original piece not a later reproduction. Probably from about 1890s or 1900s. It was refinished many years ago and remains in nice condition.
Height at sideboard surface is about 39 3/8 inch and at the mirror is 53 3/8 inch tall. Width is 42 inch. Depth is approximately 22 inch.

Condition Notes: It has been previously restored and repaired at several different times of its life. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age.
