This lot features a vintage 1973 Topps football trading card showcasing two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Gene Washington of the Minnesota Vikings. Known for his exceptional deep-threat capability and big-play athleticism during the early years of the Vikings' dominant era, Washington is captured mid-action secure in a catch while absorbing a tackle from a defender. The card emphasizes the trademark 1973 set presentation, bordered by a classic bright green and yellow geometric framework that calls out his name, team, and position. This well-aged piece of gridiron history serves as a phenomenal centerpiece for vintage sports card collectors and devoted fans of purple-and-gold franchise nostalgia.
