This lot features a vintage 1973 Topps football trading card showcasing defensive end Ron Yankowski of the St. Louis Cardinals. A solid contributor along the defensive line for the franchise throughout the 1970s, Yankowski is captured on the practice field set in a classic three-point football stance wearing his signature red and white Cardinals uniform. The card boasts the distinct geometric framing style unique to the 1973 set, featuring blue and orange ribbon banners that border his name at the top along with his position and team designation across the bottom. This authentic piece of classic sports memorabilia serves as an excellent addition for vintage set builders, football history enthusiasts, and collectors of historic Cardinals items.
