This lot features a vintage 1973 Topps football trading card showcasing the formidable defensive end Bubba Smith of the Baltimore Colts. The top pick of the 1967 NFL Draft and a key member of the Colts' Super Bowl V championship squad, the imposing defensive star is pictured on-field standing tall in his classic white home uniform with his signature number 78 clearly displayed. The card layout utilizes the iconic geometric styling of the 1973 set, incorporating vibrant pink, yellow, and orange flag ribbons that border his name at the top along with his position and team designation across the bottom. This authentic piece of gridiron nostalgia serves as a fantastic addition for vintage sports card collectors, set builders, or fans of classic NFL history.
