This lot features a vintage 1973 Topps football trading card from the unique "Boyhood Photo" subset, showcasing running back Mike Garrett of the San Diego Chargers. A Heisman Trophy winner out of USC and a Super Bowl champion, Garrett is featured in a charming retro youth portrait simulated to look like a classic photo tucked into album corners. The card features the signature design of the 1973 Topps set, highlighted by the bold blue "Boyhood Photo" headline across the top and a distinct green and brown ribbon banner at the bottom framing his name. This vintage piece of sports memorabilia is a wonderful addition for collectors of unique football subsets, USC legends, or classic 1970s gridiron sets.
