This lot features a vintage 1978 Topps football trading card showcasing starting quarterback Steve Bartkowski of the Atlanta Falcons. The number one overall pick in the 1975 NFL Draft and a consensus Pro Bowl passer, Bartkowski is captured live in pocket action looking downfield to execute a pass while donning his classic red and white Falcons jersey with his prominent number 10 fully visible. The card displays the definitive design framework of the 1978 Topps set, which integrates a curved red and yellow banner across the top displaying the "Falcons" franchise name alongside a blue "QB" position circle. This authentic piece of vintage sports memorabilia makes a stellar addition for dedicated football set builders, vintage sports card collectors, or longtime fans of Atlanta gridiron history.
