This lot features a vintage 1978 Topps football trading card showcasing explosive running back Archie Griffin of the Cincinnati Bengals. Celebrated as college football history's only two-time Heisman Trophy winner out of Ohio State, Griffin is captured live in action cutting across the gridiron while firmly tucking the football in his classic black and orange Bengals jersey with his prominent number 45 fully visible. The card displays the definitive design framework of the 1978 Topps set, which integrates a curved magenta and black banner across the top displaying the "Bengals" franchise name alongside a yellow "RB" running back position circle. This authentic piece of vintage sports memorabilia makes a stellar addition for dedicated football set builders, collegiate Ohio State collectors, or longtime fans of Cincinnati sports history.
