This lot features a vintage 1987 Topps football trading card titled "Tippett Gets His Man," which serves as the team leaders card for the New England Patriots. The action-packed image captures Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Andre Tippett (#56) flying in to make a crucial defensive stop against Hall of Fame running back Marcus Allen (#32) of the Los Angeles Raiders. Showcasing the hallmark design of the 1987 set, the card features a bold red "Patriots" retro team banner on the left alongside the descriptive situational headline running along the top border. This vintage piece of sports memorabilia is a phenomenal addition for football history enthusiasts, serious set builders, or dedicated collectors of defensive legends.
