This lot features a vintage Billy Martin stadium giveaway bobblehead, originally distributed to fans on September 2, 2002, at McDermott Field by the Idaho Falls minor league baseball club (then transitioning to the Idaho Falls Chukars). Commemorating the legendary four-time New York Yankees manager's early career root development as a player for the 1948 Idaho Falls Russets, the hand-painted heavy resin figurine shows a smiling Martin dressed in a historic white home uniform with "RUSSETS" embossed cleanly across the front chest. He wears a plain white cap, stands with a brown baseball glove tucked under his arm, and rests atop a dual-tiered green base featuring a distinct corporate sponsor plaque for the Idaho Falls Ski Club. This exceptionally rare, regional treasure is a highly prized keepsake for New York Yankees fans, minor league sports memorabilia collectors, and vintage baseball historians.
