This lot features a vintage, hand-painted C.C. Sabathia stadium giveaway bobblehead, originally distributed to fans at Jacobs Field on May 27, 2002. Released as the premier installment of a highly coveted four-part limited-edition promotional series, this heavy resin figurine celebrates the early career of the powerhouse left-handed ace. The detailed figure portrays a young Sabathia with a focused expression and sculpted facial hair, wearing a white home vest jersey over dark blue sleeves with the team's historic logo prominently displayed on the left chest. He wears a dark blue baseball cap with a red brim and holds a black fielder's glove close to his chest in a pre-pitch stance. Set upon a dirt-textured circular display base with home plate at his feet, the dark green base rim highlights his name in bold white lettering. The piece comes paired with its original collector's box patterned with a classic team logo print, serving as an exceptional piece of memorabilia for Cleveland Guardians/Indians fans and sports history collectors alike.
