Description
This modernist plaster sculpture was crafted in the 1960s by Marie Claire Vancoppenolle. She was born in Antwerp in 1925 and, fortunately for us, is still living to this day!
She never did large exhibitions and preferred to live a life out of the spotlight but did amass a fabulous collection of her own pieces.
I have it on an Eames surfboard table in my shop and it is giving great pleasure to those who come in to see it.
The piece is signed.
