An Indonesian antique carved wooden blanket chest from the 19th century, with dovetail construction and lateral handles. Created in Indonesia during the 19th century, this blanket chest features a rectangular top with nicely weathered appearance, opening to reveal a deep storage space with side box. It is the facade however that attracts our attention with its carved decor showcasing arched doors, niches and rosettes, accented with traces of green paint. Presenting a dovetailed construction and flanked with lateral handles allowing the piece to be moved more easily, this 19th century Indonesian blanket chest will be a great addition to any bedroom or living room!
