Description
Watanabe Seitei (1851 - 1918). Beautiful print of sparrows in flight done in his pattern of double windows with the continuous image crossing the window. Presented as a double window with the figures passing behind and across the windows. This creates a beautiful abstraction of space in each part of the image. The windows are 5.75" by 8.25" each. Showing now in an old mat folio sleeve. No frame, no glass.
