This artwork presents a flat skull rendered in bronze, set against a rich walnut background that enhances its organic texture. The interplay of materials creates a striking contrast between the polished surface of the bronze and the warm, natural grain of the wood. The piece evokes a contemplative mood, inviting viewers to reflect on themes of mortality and the passage of time.
