Step into a studio-turned-sanctuary. This sale features a series of original works born from a fascination with the ornate and organic. Every seashell has been curated, and delicate artisan crafted cherubs are a celebration of texture and form. These are not mere collected objects, they are handmade totems of a world where the sea meets the cathedral.

Created and signed by Joanne H. Foray with all thrifted and upcycled elements, including a large estate of shells rescued and incorporated into 60 pieces of art and decor. Artist would like to note the vintage shell collection includes some of the most strictly regulated shells in the country, many Queen Conch, which are on the endangered species list and can no longer be farmed, and various corals which are endangered, as well.

"Two-Faced"

The head is resin planter, picked up at a tag sale, with a face on each side. Her crown of shells includes urchins, oyster shells, cone snails, endangered brain coral and branch coral, fighting conch shells, murex, cockles, tritons, starfish, and more. She is a stunning piece with two visual perspectives. See more of my creations and finds on my Instagram page, antique_flames.
