This is a stunning antique Victorian Eastlake walnut platform rocking chair dating to approximately 1880-1900.

The walnut frame features a tall upholstered back, carved geometric crest, burlwood accent panels, padded arms, tufted back, brass nailhead trim, rolling casters, and an unusual exposed coil-spring rocking mechanism.

Solid, sturdy, and functional with cosmetic imperfections consistent with age.
