A Chinese 19th century stacked box handmade with red varnished bamboo. This unusual stacked box was probably used to contain offerings of various sorts, possibly in a rural temple. This box displays three multi-sided, stacked sections, the upper one with a smaller round top. The middle section features a circular hole in the center while the lower section has a solid bottom. This Chinese 19th century handmade red varnished bamboo stacked box would be an elegant and exotic item in most rooms, perhaps on a desk in a den or on a vanity in a bathroom.
