A Chinese Qing dynasty camphor wood blanket chest from the 19th century, with dark distressed patina and brass hardware. Crafted in China during the Qing dynasty where it was used for storage, this camphor wood blanket chest features a rectangular lid opening thanks to a brass lock and two rear hinges, to reveal a convenient space, perfect to store blankets or linens. The sides showcase C-scroll handles allowing the piece to be moved more easily. The entire structure presents a nicely weathered dark patina.
