"Yucca Grandeur" by Anita Blythe - Original Palette Knife Oil Painting

Bring the haunting beauty of the Southwest into your space with *"Yucca Grandeur"*, an original oil painting by New Mexico artist Anita Blythe (b. 1956). Painted exclusively with a palette knife, this striking vertical work features a solitary yucca in bloom, rising from the pale gypsum sands of White Sands National Park under a windswept twilight sky.

Rendered in a rich yet soft palette of purples, blues, and pearlescent whites, the piece captures both the harshness and delicacy of the desert landscape. The textured surface, created through confident palette knife strokes, adds depth and tactile interest to the ethereal composition.

The painting is executed on a gallery-wrapped canvas, with finished edges and a 1.5" deep profile-ready to hang without a frame for a contemporary, minimalist presentation.
