A rare matching pair, these handmade chairs are a beautiful example of vintage design and craftsmanship. With their authentic materials and aged patina, they make a unique and timeless addition to any home.

Handcrafted in the 1940s, this pair of vintage side chairs features hand-wrought iron frames paired with woven natural raffia seats and backs, exemplifying the artisanal craftsmanship of early 20th-century design. With their rustic charm and timeless materials, these chairs add character and warmth to any space.

Each chair is constructed with a sturdy, hand-forged iron frame in a rich, dark patina, complemented by natural raffia woven tightly across the seat and high backrest.
Distinctive Design: The high back features a subtle chevron weave pattern, offering both comfort and visual texture. The solid iron frames provide excellent stability and vintage presence.

These chairs are in excellent vintage condition overall, with only one known blemish-a single broken reed on the edge of one seat, as shown in the detail photo. The remainder of the weaving is intact and taut, and both chairs retain their structural integrity and charm.

Ideal as dining chairs, accent pieces, or even desk chairs, they pair beautifully with a range of styles-from farmhouse and French country to boho and industrial.
