This solid oak game table is a well-executed example of Arts and Crafts furniture, with a quarter-sawn oak top, canted corners, and a mortised stretcher base that is sturdy and well-proportioned. The inlaid chess and checkers board is worked directly into the top surface, and the underside bears a stenciled marking that may indicate a maker or original institutional owner.

Measures 30 inches wide by 30 inches deep by 23 inches tall, with a 12 inch by 12 inch playing surface. Good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear including slight board separation at one top joint, light cup marks, and some surface variability consistent with age and use.
