Original watercolor on paper by Henry Emil Salloch, also known as Heinz Emil
Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts a sweeping panoramic view of a small countryvillage tucked safely into a terraced valley floor. Signed at the bottom left and dated 1972.
The sheet measures approximately 13.3/4'' X 19.1/4''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with overall good presentation. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch's mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
