ORIGINAL SKETCH DEPICTING WALTER WINCHELL. An original graphite and ink drawing of a doctor holding a fedora-wearing baby Winchell upside down for spanking, beneath "April 7" (Winchell's birthday). Signed/inscribed "Drawn in fun and affection. Batch 1967." Captioned: "Nix on the spanking, Doc. Gimme a light, a pencil and pad. I've got to take this blessed event down for the press awaits." 10 1/8" x 6 3/4." Condition: Good, but for tape remnants verso and showing through. 2.) PENCIL SKETCH OF WALTER WINCHELL. An original sketch in pencil, titled "Family Circle, or, The 20 Million Dollar Question," depicting Winchell interviewing "Philanthropy." Captioned: "Reporter: 'Who's the father, [?].'Fair Lady: 'You should ask!.'" Inscribed: "Sketched in terra cotta and affection. Batch. P.S. an in an antic spirit." 11" x 8 1/2." Condition good.
