A charming painting of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel wearing a chestnut and white coat on a dark olive green background. His regal grace shows his aristocratic heritage and his sweet melting expression emanates from his soft brown eyes. The very unusual original giltwood frame is in two colors of gold leaf and decorated with a spotted design. Signed on the frame back: E A Plumer 1894
