This painting evokes the vivid, half-remembered magic of a childhood carnival, recalling the my experience at age six through color and pattern. Beneath the painted surface, traces of an earlier work remain visible, their shadowy forms subtly emerging through the stripes. These underlying images suggest the persistence of memory, as if past moments are gently pressing forward, never fully disappearing.

Created on a handmade wood panel, it is hardwired in the back. The black-painted sides give the work a clean, contemporary presence, though a frame can be added if desired. Altogether, the painting functions as both an abstract landscape of recollection and a physical record of layered time.
