This impressive large oil on canvas painting depicts a dramatic fox hunting scene, capturing a rider in a classic red hunting coat mid-jump as the horse clears a rustic fence. In the background, hounds give chase through a wooded landscape, adding energy and narrative depth to the composition. The scene evokes the tradition and excitement of English countryside hunting.

Executed in a bold, expressive style, the artist emphasizes motion and form through confident brushwork and earthy tones. The muscular movement of the horse and the poised control of the rider create a powerful visual moment, while the muted woodland background enhances the sense of atmosphere and season. This is a striking decorative piece with strong presence and character.

Presented in a substantial vintage style heavy frame with rich texture. Ready to hang.
